This is a traditional Hand carved balsa bass bug
These flies are hand carved from Balsa blanks. They are shaped, sanded, and airbrushed by hand. A coat of clear epoxy is applied to create a durable, lasting finish that will hold up after catching numerous fish. The cupped mouth creates a distinct pop when retrieved and the legs fluttering in the water really draw attention to it.
These flies have been tested and used successfully in rivers and lakes in both Northern and Southern Wisconsin.
