This pattern has a million useful applications but was designed specifically for catching smallmouth bass. In areas of high populations of both dragon and damsel flies this pattern can be an absolute killer. The Tight Lines team loves to fish this fly dropped below your favorite popper. The popper becomes your indicator and the damsel/dragon drives the smallmouth nuts.
